Knight Rider Season 3

Season 3 of the crime series Knight Rider premiered on 30th September 1984. The season aired a total of twenty two episodes. In the first episode, Michael tries to convince Bonnie to come back to the foundation while criminal mastermind David Ralston and Margo Sheridan, gather a team of high-tech criminals to rob a Federal Reserve Bank. Bonnie rebuilds the KITT with new enhancements while Michael (David Hasselhoff)confronts Margo and David, who have also unleashed a robotic drone car to kill Michael. While investigating the theft of a collection of diamonds, Michael and KITT end up at a monastery that is being used as a front for plastic surgery clinic where a doctor helps change the appearance of the thieves in return of a percentage of their takings. Stacy Courtney, the daughter of a former colleague of Michael gets severely injured during an illegal Bonzai race and upon investigating Michael and KITT are led to the owner of the Cougars, which happens to be Michael’s favorite football team. Bonnie starts seeing strange things after she witnesses the murder of a woman in her new apartment complex and Michael has to help her get to the truth before she becomes insane.

Mechanic John Stanton and his girlfriend Mandy accidentally come across KITT’s prototype, KARR, which is buried in sand and when they bring it out the car gets activated on its own and uses its manipulative ways to convince John to help him eliminate KITT and Michael. A psychologist, who houses troubled kids on her ranch, is defended by Michael, as she is bothered by angry townsfolk and corrupt sheriffs. Upon further investigation, Michael finds the ranch to be located on a land that has a deposit of minerals worth millions. Michael works undercover posing as a drug dealer to win a crime lord’s trust who then asks him to steal a special key from Devon. KITT, who is unaware of Michael’s disguise, refuses to help him thinking him to have become a real criminal, which forces Michael to shoot Devon (Edward Mulhare)to get the key and manually drive KITT.

He is later suspended and FLAG tries to find his replacement. A young dancer ends up drinking the poison meant for Michael and while trying to find an antidote to save her life Michael also tries to get to the killer in Mexico. KITT loses his memory after being electrocuted during a chase and ends up being found by a teenager who is being pursued by the same thieves he and Michael were chasing. Michael chases a thief named Chameleon, who has stolen a secret jet pack from the military using his gift of being a master of disguise and now wants to avenge Michael for putting him in jail two years earlier. Michael and KITT are called in when owners of small independent fashion houses face a threat to their lives from a customized car and its killer driver who have been hired by a big businessman to eliminate competition. A friend of Michael, Maxine Flemming, loses her prized race horse but on investigating Michael learns that the horse’s death had been faked by Maxine’s partner, Tommy Lee, who is now selling the steed to pay his gambling debts. While investigating the illegal activities of the owner of a toxic waste dump with Michael, KITT gets almost completely destroyed when it ends up in a pit filled with acid.[Read More...]
